Editorial policy

The rules we follow so the numbers on this site can be trusted.

Independence

Editors decide what we cover and how we calculate costs. Partners, advertisers and tourism boards do not review or approve pages before publication.

Commissions

Some booking links earn a commission. We say so next to the links and in the footer. A partner never gets a better position in a table or a different price on the page because of a commission.

Free trips and discounts

We pay for our own travel. If a hotel or operator offers a discount we did not ask for, we decline it or say so on the page.

Checking and dating

Every price carries the date it was checked and is rechecked within a fixed window. Our methodology lists the windows for each kind of price.

Corrections

When a number is wrong we fix it and log the change with the date, on the page and on our changelog.

Use of automated tools

We use software to watch official pages, partner links and price changes, and AI tools to help with research, outlines and editing. A person checks every rule and price against its source before it is published.
